Our Long Island Dog Training provides Advanced Obedience Dog Training that is second to none. If you
want immediate dog training results in (5) lessons or less this is the route to go. We achieve great results by
not only training your dog, but not teaching you how to dog train. No, you don't have to be a professional
Long Island Dog Trainer in order to train your dog. Our Long Island Dog Training Company spends 1/3 of
the lesson on training your dog, 1/3 on training with you and your dog, and the last third, on observing you
training your dog. This part of the dog obedience lesson is also intended for you to ask us questions or
bring to our attention anything you may be having problems with. Our obedience lessons are usually 60-90
minutes in duration, and we usually meet on a weekly to(10) basis. Homework is supplied at the end of each
lesson which requires no more than 20-30 minutes of dog training a day.
Your dog will be trained to HEEL (walk nicely off-leash by your side), SIT, COME, PLACE (go to your doggy
bed), LEAVE-IT, DROP-IT, and many common behavior problems. Having an Off-Leash trained puppy or
dog will allow for a greater bond between you and your dog. Enjoying beaches, hiking, running, jogging,
swimming, Frisbee, etc... These types of recreational activities without the restriction of a dog leash, can
really be physical, mental, and bond forming between master and dog.
Our Long Island Dog Training approach is based on comparison. We like to show the dog what we mean by
presenting different outcomes but, leading him into the right one, over, and over again, forming a habit. Our
training lessons are fun for both dog and owner. We keep apprised of modern dog training methods, so we
can keep adding, deducting, or changing the way we do things. Our loyalty is to the puppy, dog, and the
